It would be wrong of us to sit here and try to tell others what the best way to play any map would be.  Everyone has there own way of playing and the Forest Nothing maps are in my opinion one of the most tactical maps there is. There are so many ways of playing the same civilizations and on FN there is normally an element of team tactics far greater than most other maps.  With this in mind it would take a novel the size of war and piece to go through every different tactic. We therefor would suggest to offer only 3 main pieces of advice.

1.  Like all maps. the only real way to get better is to watch game records of others. There are some very good players who will offer advice as they play but most games are recorded so take a little time to look at the finer points of other players.

2. This applies to new FN players. With the exception of a tiny few, most FN players are of good character and will welcome players who want to try it out.  The one thing they do not like is players who ruin games because they have lied to get into the game. Please be honest so that the players there can make fair teams. This is the main reason why they like to know if you are new to FN. We like to play FN because we like the longer game and also like to have a reasonable battle at the end. If the team is is very unbalanced then the game will be short lived.
