This is a very good FN map to play.  It has some uncertainties as  just like some of the other new FN maps the random generator does not keep all allies on there own side of the river. You may find yourself on your own between your enemies.  This does add another level to the game as when you start to trade your carts will have to cross the river at some point. There are many crossing places as the river is somewhat broken so you cannot sail from one end to the other. These crossing places also give you a strong place to defend should you need to.

There is not much point making a military navy but if you get a chance then you can do some limited fishing using boats depending on where about you come across the river. I did have the unfortunate instance where my Tc at the start was half in the river. This made it very difficult to cut space for a house /farm but it did allow me to get some early fishing in so it evened its self out. . It is an intrusting map and quite a pleasure to play. One of the better ones that have been made recently.
