Welcome to the world of Holzhacker Buben.  We are an Age of Empires game playing clan and unlike many other clans, we place friendship over skill.  This site has been made to promote our Community and holds much information about many aspects of the HHB as well as general information about the game and how to play it online.  There is a section on recruitment as well as some information about our history, our aims and our  objectives. We also hope to keep you up to date with current HHB news. The maps downloads are there for all to use and we endeavor to place as many game recs as we can. Welcome to the second edition of the Chronicles. At the time of writing this we are busy settleing down to normality. With so many members who have joined up or returned to the House of Buben we have been quite hectic but have started to play more online  games at IGZs. There is always a good showing of HHB members online now so you may find a decent game if you care to look for us.   we are still undecided on some of the possible directions that the new  HHB could go. We arestill hopefull that there are some ex HHB members that may still return soon. 

HHBs moto is Character before Skill. This does not mean that we doe not like skilled players to belong to HHB. far from it, we like very much to have the balance of   good character with some very skilled players. This has given us the opertunity to take part in the Michi league season 4. Something that we thought would take a few years to achieve. We would like to think that with our varied use of maps and the high skill level of some of our members we will be a strong force not only in michi games but also in open map tourneys as well.

We have had a great start and as the registered  user list will show have grown into a strong clan.  We once again have become known throughout the AoC community and are currently the fastest growing clan.  We have had more ex HHB members join up and recently We were lucky enough to have Shaun  return to us.   HHB was Shauns first clan and he is welcomed back to where he belongs.  We have also been lucky to obtain several members from the Community of  Friends  (CoF). This has unfortunately closed due to lack of  activity and the ill health of LB who was running CoF. We wish him well and hope that he will return fit and well  soon.  We are still confident that there are some great old friends out there who will come back to HHB eventually.

We now have this new site which is an improvment on the old one.  It's a long way from being the total site we want but we have a good  start. We  will be updating the site from time to time and any suggestions or thoughts you may have will be welcomed. As far as the forums are concerned we would like to make the most of them that we can and we will endeavour to work on areas that are currently void of any information or topics.Any topics that you can read about on this site will also be avaliable to comment on via our forums so please share any thoughts you may have with us there.

Last off. We would like to thank each and every one of you  who has supported the new HHB.  We look forward to growing with you in the future..    And remember. "have good times"
