Average size pockets of forest with loads of roaming sheep, boars and deer.  Gold and stone plentiful with a few relics to collect. Easy to defend with lots of cliffs but some bumpy ground will make it harder to build.    Beginners map..

An open wilderness with scattered pockets of trees.  There are no roaming deer, sheep or boar.  Average stone and gold to mine and a few relics to collect...
This one is good for the beginners who like sand.  Start with 22 sheep close by to TC.  Central forest line is slightly diagonal but not corner to corner.  Relics stone and gold are plentiful. A high resource map.
This michi has a top to bottom forest line almost corner to corner and thick with jungle trees.   No deer, boar, or sheep but a good amount of berries to get you going. There is limited gold and stone available.  Maybe one for the beginner who want to step up to Michi Nothing
A central forest line and high resources (gold & stone).  Boars Berries and deer but as the name says, no sheep.  Also no wolfs either and a map that is easy to set up trade routes.  Some bumpy ground.
This has a central dividing line of forest. No sheep on this one but lots of gold, stone, relics  and berries although these are gathered in large clumps. You start with a Frankins Paladin (dude with a lance) instead of  usual scout.
Some cliffs and small pockets of trees and ground quite bumpy.  Resources are limited and will have to be scouted for although there are some close to TC.
A central frozen lake surrounded buy snow covered pine trees stands out from  the rest of the flat bare grass.  Very limited ammounts of gold and stone and a few relics to collect.  A good rush map.
This map has average size clumps of trees accompanied by widespread gold and stone.   A few cliffs and some bumpy ground in places but not too bad
A cross between Arabia and Michi. Lots of cliffs with an unbroken band of think forest accross it.  Some relics, but huge ammounts of gold and stone near TC. Start with 10 vills 4 siege ongagers (all civvs) and 2 Frankish Paladins (dudes with lances) so early rush is possible
TC has large amounts of berries to forage but small amounts of gold and stone except where far from TCs.  No deer or boars to hunt and no sheep to butcher either.  Some relics but grouped together
Snow and pine trees along with some roads to link allies. No sheep but turkeys and some deer and boars for the hunt.  Dividing forrest line is xtra think and gold/stone resources are quite high.   Plenty of eye candy
There is so much gold and stone on this map my pet cat could be an expert on it..
Good amount of sheep close by TC to get you off the mark as well as the Usual 3 boars and 7/8 deer to hunt.  Rather less stone and gold around to mine than usual.
Berries, stone, and gold is pretty much normal but your hunting can be done much closer to the TC than it usually is.
The usual Arabia with fewer cliffs and lots more wolfs to eat your vills.  Limited stone and gold with a few bumpy patches of ground to make building a little harder
The usual Michi map but with a bendy middle section of forest. Lots of scattered relics to collect. Hunting is good with the usual wild animals and medium resources of stone and gold.
Lots of hunting to get you up through  the ages. A few relics around and some bumpy ground.
Lots of think forest to chop through on this one.  Some wolfs roaming about so be carefully when you go hunting the large clumps of deer, boars, and sheep.  There are 1 or 2 relics to be had and the stone and gold are average in amounts.
Typical Michi map but with extra turkeys instead of sheep.  Ground is a little bit bumpy in places but should not confine any building.  A few relics and limited gold and stone..
