Fairly narrow dividing forest on this map with most deer, boars, and sheep close by to TC. No wolfs and a small amount of gold and stone to get you off the mark.
Forest is sometimes diagonal making trade routes harder to contain and defend. A few relics and medium resources for everything. No wolfs.
Careful. you may find a wolf right next to your TC at start. Average resources with some relics but not many. Forest often diagonal from corner to corner. Usual amount of hunting to be done.
Extra deer and sheep for you. Forest is quite narrow for a mich map. Relics are few and scattered. No wolfs to eat your vills. :-)
Typical Michi map not unlike so many others. Lots of room to build up with average resources and no wolfs.
A good beginner map. High resources across the whole map with masses of hunting but with the exception of deer. Some wolfs around to keep you on your guard. Forest dividing line is quite thin.

Lots of sheep and deer to get going with and all clumped together for ease of hunting. 4 boars, average gold and stone and a little bit bumpy in places. altogether a good map to trade on with east routes available.

Almost flat terrain with lots of open space. small amounts of gold and stone with wide spread hunting. A few relics and wolfs.
Normalcy has a diagonal forest line with very high resources in gold but not so much in stone. Deer, boar, and sheep as usual with a couple of relics here and there.
Medium dividing forest line. rest of wood is sparse with small amounts of bamboo and jungle trees with roads linking allies TCs. No deer but sheep, turkeys,and boars ready for eating. TCs have pocket of gold but away form base gold is almost zero.
Flat terrain with thick dividing forest line. Ususal amounts of deer, boars, and sheep to eat and all close to TC. No relics on this one and medium resources of gold and stone
Like a michi but with wall of stone boulder to divide teams (some openings in wall). Start with 2 woad raiders (all civs) and medium gold and stone pockets around. Watch for bands of outlaws hiding and praying wolfs. Lots of different trees with plenty of eye candy to view.
Another michi on sand. very high resources (sheep, gold) a few deer and boar to hunt and medium stone to mine.
Lots of deer, boar, and sheep to eat but well spread out. few cliffs and relics with medium size clumps of trees. The rest is usual with 3 vills looking for a place to call home.
A high recourse map stacked with sheep and boars with a few deer thrown in. Large amounts of gold and stone with a few relics and some praying wolfs.
Start with watch tower by TC. Lots of healthy sheep, turkeys. deer, and boars to consume. stone is available but no gold. A couple of relics and lots of open spaces.
