A very straight river with narrow trees. A good trade map but a bit bumpy in places..
Each start with there base encircled by a narrow river. Enough resources to get you going but only enough.. A bit of eye candy and lots of jaguars...
A really nice looking map and different to play. Lots of narrow passes connect a network of open clearings. Deer, boars, and sheep roam but no wolfs (too cold for them).
A desert version of the Rocky_High_Alpine. Large open areas of bare desert sand. (don't get lost). Trees are few but resources are average on stone and gold.
A type of archipelago map Tone of fish and small islands with a fair amount of gold. Start with TC, Mkt, Houses, Barracks, and blacksmith. Is rather an eye candy map
As the name suggests. A very cold looking mapwityh frozen pools (springs). The map often have water down each side. Resources are good..
This map is low on resources and what little there is are widespread so scouting is a must if you are to survive. Takes the form of an Arabia style map.
A mix of water and land. All start walled in and resources are low to medium.
Nothing unusual except all your deer, boar, and sheep (lots of them) are clumped together and very close to your TC. A good beginer map to try out playing michi.
Often there is so much snow that you will need you sun shades to stop the snow blindness. all start walled in and some rivers and roads / tracks. Especially low on trees so wood will be at a premium later in the game.
A good map for the beginner with flat terrain and medium resources. Easy hunting
An easy trade map. Food is widely spread
As above but with some bumpy terrain
Takes on the form of an estuary. A really nice looking map that is good to play on as it is normaly a non rush map. All civs start divided by either water or forest.
So many houses.. Most resources are towards the center of the map with the exception of trees that are all around the perimeter.
